I’ve played very little #Balatro, but I know many peeps love the game. That kind soul known only as #TechDweeb has created a card-based solitaire inspired by Balatro called Solatro and it looks really neat and is free (playing cards not included). #videogames #cardgames www.youtube.com/watch

The Home Screen of my newly minted Surf account showing favorites for various feed collections and two custom feeds I've created for my social media accounts (Home Timeline) and a selection of some of my RSS feeds (TKNN).

Checking out the closed #Surf app beta from #Flipboard, a new “social browser” that supports #ActivityPub, #ATProto, and #RSS. It needs more work, like dark mode and desktop font sizing, but I like what I see so far. Sign up, but I don’t know how long it’ll take. #socialmedia surf.social

Have the need to download old versions of #macOS installers or firmware? Do you struggle with getting them from #Apple? Yeah, I know the drill. It’s a pain in the ass. MIST to the rescue, then! You can grab the installer on the GitHub page or install it with #Homebrew (brew install –cask mist) and there’s even a command line version for super nerds. #freeware #retrocomputing github.com/ninxsoft/…

I paid SetApp $240 for two years to end up using about six apps.

That's not a value in my book.

So, I cancelled my subscription and started looking for an alternative, and I found it in the form of Spaced, an entirely free utility available on the App Store. Now, truth be told, Bartender is really nothing more than a menubar management tool that makes it easier to put your icons where you want them (mostly, as there are some restrictions imposed by macOS itself), …
