- Go for a walk
- Spend time with friends
- Play a game like a board game, video games, or get into table-top role-playing games (TTRPG), or even just a few dozen rounds of poker

- Nap in a patch of sunlight or next to a warming fire with your kids and/or pets
- Bake something like biscuits or pie or some nice, big potatoes and stuff them with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives, or whatever you like
- Help out at your local homeless shelter or donate some old clothes to families in need
- If you can afford it, slap a few hundred bucks on a gift card, go to that store, and pay for everyone until it runs out
- Stop and smell some roses
- Watch a movie or three like The Wild Robot (2024 on Apple TV, Google Play, Amazon Prime and more)
- Write something nice on a pad of paper about nice and/or hopeful for yourself or someone you like
- Get out an old computer and install Linux Mint and engage in some joyful technological discovery. linuxmint.com
- Go out on a thrift shop crawl in your local area and buy some old things to give them a new home

I read Goscinny & Uderzo books as a child in the 70’s and have loved them ever since. I’ve been playing Marvel Rivals since it dropped and I’ve settled on Squirrel Girl as my main. I main Junkrat in Overwatch 2 and Demoman in Team Fortress 2, so I have something like 15 years of experience with arching projectiles. I get a lot of hate for my “spam” LOLZ. I can say with pleasantly surprised surety that I had no idea Patton Oswalt was a comics nerd! I am also pleasantly surprised that he and writer Jordan Blum have curated ten tales they cite as having fostered their love of #Marvel #Comics into a hardcover collection titled “Marvel Unforgettable Stories” packed into 280 pages and a lovely slipcase for a cool $100.
