Since bingo cards seem to be the current metric by which culture is judged, I sure as hell didn’t have “Bitchin' New OK Go Music Video” on mine. I’ll have to watch it again for the lyrics, though. It’s just too mesmerizing the first time! #music #pop #musicvideo www.youtube.com/watch

I don’t really care that there have been #Nintendo #Switch2 leaks. I mean, what’s really been revealed? Not much at all. Most of it remains a mystery. But this take from Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya is comically hilarious. #tech #videogames kotaku.com/bayonetta…

Wow #Canon. This is lame. Apparently, if you want to use your camera as a webcam, you have to pay them $5 a month. Now, that gets you “PRO” features like 60FPS, watermarks, and setting hotkeys, so… you know. #tech #capitalism #wtaf romanzipp.com/blog/no-y…

#NowPlaying @ Nothing Manor: Spock’s Beard (2007). The band’s ninth album which was released to mixed reviews, still polarizes some listeners, but still garnered solid reviews. I personally love it. #music #ProgressiveRock www.youtube.com/watch

This is just dumb, #Ferrari. Silly. If you’re going to make an #EV do it without the petty nod to your petrol-based past. Forge a new path forward. And while you’re at it do something about that lozenge you call a design. #cars #tech www.autoblog.com/news/ferr…

#NowPlaying @ Nothing Manor: Spock’s Beard - The Oblivion Particle (2015). Driving, melodic, #progressive #hardrock liberally tinged with a wry sense of humor and hints of #jazz here and there. Every album a concept. #music www.youtube.com/watch

#NowPlaying @ Nothing Manor: Chris Cornell - Euphoria Mourning (1999). Chris' first solo album that illustrated a more lyrical and pensive side of his vocal talent and compositional prowess. A must listen. #music www.youtube.com/watch

#NowPlaying @ Nothing Manor: Soundgarden - Superunknown (20th Anniversary)(1994). I still grieve the loss of Chris Cornell. He was an extraordinary vocalist, and this is an extraordinary album. #music www.youtube.com/watch

So, #Nintendo #Switch2. I’m excited, despite all the leaks. Mario’s Dad subtly confirmed various aspects of the leaks, like mouse mode and a new Mario Kart game whilst keeping most of the details for later reveals. I thought we’d exhausted all of the “platforms” #Doom could run on, even the truly bizarre ones, like a pregnancy test, the MacBook Pro Touchbar, or an ATM. This is just silly, #Gizmodo. Despite the leaks, we know almost nothing about #Nintendo’s #Switch2. Everything we think we know is speculation. The only thing we seem to know is what it looks like. Even reliable leakers are fallible. #tech #videogames gizmodo.com/walmart-t…

Boy, oh boy. #Microsoft is on a roll. In another desperate effort to force people to move to the generally despised #Windows10 they have announced they are cutting off support for #Office365 on October 14th, what I’m not going to call The Day Windows Died. #tech www.theverge.com/2025/1/15…

I was once hyped on #Microsoft. #Windows 7 and 10 were great, they had new ideas like the Surface Duo and a renewed focus on gaming. That Microsoft’s now gone and they’re now on the #AI hype train. Ugh. Come SteamOS, I’m finally done. For good. #tech arstechnica.com/gadgets/2…

I’ve been a big fan of #Marvel’s #Daredevil for a long, long time, and the only live action version that was ever good was #Netflix’s which ran three seasons starting in 2015, but it was cancelled.
